Aviation Flight TrainingAbout aviation flight trainingWhen pursuing aviation flight training and pilot certification, there are a couple types of licenses which can be obtained. The two types of licenses include the recreational pilot license or a private pilot license. The main difference between the two licenses has to do with the distance the licensed pilot is allowed to fly. The recreational pilot is only allowed to fly within a 50 mile radius of their airport in addition to other restrictions such as possibly no flight at night or air traffic controlled flights. One of the major factors in the differences in license types has to do with the pilot’s aviation flight training. For the recreational pilot, aviation flight training is much shorter and less intense than that aviation flight training of a commercially licensed pilot. The aviation flight training for the recreational pilot will cost much less than the aviation flight training of a commercial pilot in addition to the lessened amount of hours necessary for actual aviation flight training. The advantage of commercial aviation flight training is that instrument flight training as well as air traffic control training is included in the commercial aviation flight training in contrast to a simple recreational pilot’s license. When considering aviation eductation and getting a pilots license, there are several restrictions involved which include a minimum of 16 years of age in order to fly alone, in addition to aviation flight training a young pilot must be at least 17 years of age in order to obtain a private pilots license, have a minimum third class medical certificate from an FAA certified physician, as well as be able to read, and speak the English language. These and many more restrictions are placed on aviation students and there are many safety precautions in this potentially dangerous activity. Many restrictions are placed on all licensed pilots due to the potentially dangerousness of aviation in general. This is extremely important to consider when selecting your aviation flight training school.
